H1N1 (Swine Flu) Our practice is following the guidelines from the CDC and the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists regarding prevention, vaccination, and treatment of the H1N1 (Swine) Flu for all Pregnant Women. The vaccine is now available, with shipments coming to our office on a regular basis. Our priority for vaccination will be pregnant patients and medical office staff, as recommended by the CDC. Our pregnant patients are welcome to call the office and schedule an appointment for vaccination or wait until their next routine visit. Seasonal influenza vaccination (Routine Flu Shots) are recommended for all pregnant women in any trimester, in addition to H1N1 vaccination. We hope to have doses of the seasonal flu vaccine available later this fall. If you or a member of your household is sick, please do not come to the office without further instruction from us.
